consider的用法总结大全

vt.& vi. 考虑；把（某人，某事）看作…，认为（某人，某事）如何；考虑，细想；

vt. 考虑；认为；看重；以为

vi. 仔细考虑；深思；

consider一般有四种用法，具体如下：

一、consider“思考”、“考 虑”(=think about),后面可接 名词、代词、动名词；由 “how, what等 动词不定式” 或者从句作宾语。但要特别 注意:consider后面不能直接 跟动词不定式作宾语。

1、We must consider the problem very carefully.

2、We are considering going to Hainan for the Spring Festival.

3、He has never considered how to solve the problem.

二、consider v.“考虑到"、" 顾及"、"体谅"。这时其后用 名词或动名词作宾语。

①All of you should consider the feelings of other people.

②Although he has made such a stupid mistake, you should consider his youth.

三、① “认为”、“以为”、 “觉得”(=be of the opinion, regard as),后面多接宾语从句, 这时一般不接动名词作宾语。

Eg：I consider that he is fit for the position of the manager.

②consider作“认为”之意时, 后面还可以接“宾语 宾补” 的结构,宾补多为动词不定式 其结构主要是“to be 名词/ 形容词”,to be可以省略；有 时也可以是其它不定式,不过 这种不定式多用完成时。

1、We always consider him to be a wise leader.

2、They consider Jim (to be) the cleverest boy in their class.

3、I consider her to have done wonderfully in the final exam.

四、固定结构"consider... as/ to be 名词/形容词"多侧重于 表示经过思考"认为……是……"。

eg:They considered the plan as reasonable(合理的).

1. After a year we will sympathetically consider an application for reinstatement.

一年后我们会对复职申请予以考虑和批准。

2. The jury will retire to consider its verdict today.

陪审团今天将退庭商议裁决结果。

3. Consider what your likes and dislikes are about your job.

想想工作中哪些部分是自己喜欢的，哪些是不喜欢的。

4. We consider it a compliment to be called "conservative"

我们认为被称作“保守分子”是对我们的一种赞赏。
