1. earth 是人类所居住的这个行星的名字──“地球”。有时也指“大地”、“地面”或“泥土” 。如：

The earth goes around the sun. 地球绕着太阳转。

The plane fell to earth. 飞机落到地面。

2. world 指“世界”，有时也指“全世界的人”。如：

He travelled all over the world. 他周游了全世界。

3. globe 指“地球”，强调圆球形状，一般不宜多用，也指“地球仪”。如：
