副词perhaps的三点小用法
1. 用作副词，表示“也许”，表不确定语气，常位于句首，有时也放在句中或句末。如：
Perhaps we’ll find him at the hotel. 也许我们会在旅馆里找到他。
This is perhaps the best dish in this restaurant. 这也许是这个餐馆最好的菜。
You’d better go now, perhaps. 也许你最好现在去。
2. 可用于省略句中，尤其是简略答语中。如：
A：Will he lend us the money? 他会借钱给我们吗?
B：Perhaps so (not). 也许会（不会）吧。
3. 用于Perhaps you would…句式，意为“是否可以请你……”“请你……好吗”。如：
Perhaps you wouldtake this suitcase for me. 你给我拿一下这个手提箱行吗。
Perhaps you would be kind enough to open the door. 请你把门关上好吗?
